my night time ritual
Hello my lovelies, it’s that time of the week again….. SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Where Has The Weekend Gone #sadface.
I hope you’ve all had a great weekend
I was feeling inspired last night when I was doing my usual nightly routine so I thought why not do a Night time ritual post, so here I am typing away with ideas for a new post.
We all have our night time rituals and truth be told we don’t always manage to stick to it every time
Whether we’re tired from a long day at work or glued to the Netflix series we’re currently watching #guilty me most days, but I know we all feel better for sticking to it.
Over time I have managed to get my night time ritual down to 15-20 minutes so here goes
I start off with sorting out my outfit for work the next day and making sure I have made myself a nice lunch.
Now onto my nightly skin routine
• Wash my face
• Followed by my Electric face cleanser used with my coconut cleansing cream
• Take my Hair, Skin and Nail Vitamin
• Brush my teeth and stick in my retainer
• Spray some sleep therapy mist on my duvet and pillows
I Just love the smell and it seems to relax me and helps me sleep so Win Win
And lastly put on whatever cute pjs I want to wear that night, I have an obsession for cute silky pjs.
Then I climb into bed and watch an episode or 2 or 3 of whatever Netflix series I am hooked on at the time or read my book.
Once it’s time for me to go to sleep I like to us the Calm app on my phone, it has loads of sounds to help you sleep and you can set timers on it, anything from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Why not give it a go!?..... your nightly routine could be anything from a work out, skin care, reading a chapter of a book you’re loving or learning a new language it can be anything you want.
Try it and see how much better you’ll feel for it.
